- Aircraft cargo door counterbalances. AMETEK has more than 20,000 reels operating on counterbalance systems for nearly every major aircraft OEM in the world. From the spring system for the cargo door of the C130 to the door system of small business aircraft, AMETEK has the experience and the design capability to meet your requirements
- Arbor mounted and base mounted reels are ideal for interior aircraft applications where tables or partitions need to be moved and stowed out of the way. These reels are available in forces from 0.25 pound to 34 pounds.

Stacers
AMETEK stacers were developed by Hunter Spring to meet a wide range of applications limited only by the imagination of prospective users. The stacer is a spiral wound tube unique for its ability for extension with no external force. The Stacer is ideal for applications for military antenna, probes and other self deployed applications. Static Grounding Reels
AMETEK offers static grounding reels in 20, 50, 75 and 100 foot cable lengths. Built for reliable performance, Rota-Reel grounding reels feature a spirator prestressed spiral spring for reliable extension and retraction performance. AMETEK's ML series static bonding reels are designed for military refuelling truck applications. These reels feature an integral braking mechanism to limit the retraction speed of the cable. All AMETEK reels feature a galvanized metal finish with powder coat epoxy paint to assure performance in the toughest environments. |
