• SURESHIELD® Antimicrobial coating inhibits the growth of bacteria as contamination to the housing inside and out will not be allowed to propagate.
• SURESHIELD® prevents the growth of microbes by working in a way similar to chlorine. If microbes appear on the surface, the coating will make contact with the microbes and disturb their ability to replicate and live on the coating surface. This disturbance can suppress the microbes to an amount that is immeasurable within 24 hours using standard laboratory equipment.
• SURESHIELD® works for the metal coating like chlorine works for pools.

The following table shows the results of the NY State Proposal test, in which two steel samples, one coated with SURESHIELD® and one not coated, were tested for antimicrobial activity using a surrogate bacteria widely tested by laboratories to demonstrate antimicrobial efficacy. After 24 hours, the bacteria were measured. The results show that the uncoated sample permitted significant replications of bacteria, while SURESHIELD® suppressed the growth of bacteria to an immeasurable amount.
